Soundwalks with Todd Shalom of the New York Society for Acoustic Ecology
(2 sessions at 1pm & 3pm) Each soundwalk adventure is limited to 15 people, so come early to guarantee your spot!

Todd Shalom is a Brooklyn-based artist who works between text, video and sound. Trained as a marketer and poet, he is currently interested in creating works that recontextualize public space through performance and installations.

Experimental Outdoor Ambulatory Sound Performances
Five musicians -- Michael Attias (saxophone), Michael Evans (percussion), Kenta Nagai (shamisen), David Watson (bagpipe) and Matthew Welch (bagpipe) -- explore the location and ways of playing and listening together (and apart) at Solar One at Stuyvesant Cove Park.

A conversation about artful activism and creative community building on the front lines of New York City's sustainability movement. Mosher (High Water Line).

Old Goat Karts Drag Race
Solar One's Citysol site will be transformed into a mini-race course for The 62's renewable-energy powered, reclaimed go-carts (think: suped up Barbie Jeeps and Rascals).
